fter the success of the Steelcraft Series Kwiaken and Mini Bodega models, we wondered which knife would be the next collaboration between Todd Begg and Reate Knives. The answer, the Field Marshall, a stylish tactical blade that both Todd and Mark are extremely excited about. It's built with this same degree of excellence as previous models with a myriad of exciting features that have never been seen on Reate Knives or the Steelcraft Series.
This semi-custom Field Marshall model is built to the same specifications as the original with the same ceramic IKBS pivot bearing system for unparalleled smoothness. Every edge of the handle, including the pocket clip, is contoured for a more pleasant feel and the milling not only improves the looks but also the grip. It has a stout feel for comfortable handling yet a slender profile for easy pocket carry. This is a beautiful knife you can absolutely count on as your go-to tactical blade in a pinch.
The blade measures in at 3.95" with a 3.625" cutting edge, made from excellent CPM-S35VN stainless steel with Todd's signature fluting pattern. It features a small finger choil for fine detail work and a replaceable lockbar insert that doubles as an overtravel preventer. The 5.125" full titanium handle and ceramic ball pocket clip are true to form replications of the original with milled internal lightening pockets to reduce weight. The ergonomic curve of the handle shape paired with the thumb ramp and spine jimping make for a supremely solid hold on this knife, comfortable enough for prolonged hard use. We love the look of the bronze handle with milled gold and silver accents, it shows the outstanding work of which Reate is currently capable. Get this knife in your hand and you're sure to fall in love with it, just as we have.
